Anyway, on Tuesday, I went to Thorpe Park with some friends from my old Junior School. I've never been before so I didn't know what to expect but it was PACKED. As I've never been before, we decided to go on all the main big rides;
First of all, we went on Colossus: the world's first 10 loop ride! I was so scared and my friend made me sit and the back.. It was actually really good fun though!
The next one was Saw and we waited in line for like an hour and a half and it was soo good! There is a big hill to go up but you are vertically inclining, I'm not even joking:
*not my picture*
That cart is going up. I was so scared at this point and it doesn't go that fast either!
We then had lunch and we had only been on 2 rides which was a bit annoying but the next one was Stealth which is literally over in like 10 seconds! It is 205ft and I was TERRIFIED for this one! It was actually really good but we had to wait in line for 2 HOURS!! I was soo bored but they gave us headphones so everyone was having a silent disco, we are all so sociable, basically no one really spoke for the whole time we were queing.
The next one was The Swarm which I think is the newest ride there and was a winged seat position. Not only that but there are also 2 rows at the back where you do the whole ride backwards! My friend made me do that too. Saying that though, I think that was my favourite ride and I would happily do it again now.
The final ride we went on was Nemesis Inferno which was amazing too. We only queued for about an hour but it seemed like forever as it was later on in the day.
It was actually a really good day and I enjoyed it a lot. We did decide to go on Colossus and Stealth again and luckily the queue for Stealth was really short. I would love to go again and do all the other rides as we only did the main ones and had to queue for ages so didn't get to try any others. I would love to go on Tidal Wave and Rush and I think that Colossus and The Swarm were my favourites! I was worried about going on all of them but they're all so much fun!
I have also decided to show on ride videos for all the rides I went on so you can see for yourself what they're really like:
None of the youtube videos are my own.
Sorry for a long post today and again sorry for not blogging much.
