I'm Back!?

So after my emotional (not) 'final post' (now deleted), I have decided to continue with my blog. I hadn't looked at my blog since then (FEBRUARY) and just looking at it again made me see the 2000 pageviews I now have... I really don't understand how that works?! Anyway, so thank you guys so much and I will be carrying on with this blog, you will all just have to wait a bit for the posts! I am just finishing Year 10 and I have my mocks coming up soon so I probably wont' post until July(ish, maybe later...) I also should be revising but Doctor Who is on BBCthree...

Today we had a family BBQ (the first one in years) and its been a really nice but hot day. We also had Sports Day at my school yesterday and I have a bad headache (at least I have a tan to show for it!) I also saw Dirty Dancing at the theatre yesterday with my mum and I would definetly recommend that if it comes near you. I've only seen the film once but the stage show was BRILLIANT!

*BBQ OUTFIT*
sunglasses, crop top & shorts - Primark

necklace - local vintage market
(obsessed with this necklace)
(idk why the top looks like that!?)

Sports Day certificate
(last sports day, first and last time I participated, still not sure how we won!?)

Dirty Dancing Programme :)

P.S. I just want to say thanks again for sticking with me and I hope to post soon (don't get too excited!)
P.P.S I used '?!' / '!?' so many times!?!?

News #1

I made an ask.fm so now you can ask me anything:) please someone, literally NO answers yet

Right so I know I haven't posted in a while but I've got some good and bad news.

The bad news is that I have been having troubles with my new post (which was due to come up a few weeks ago). I couldn't do it the first week as I literally have so much coursework and I'm like really struggling.. anyway and I had a dance comp too (didn't do well), the next week I was halfway through and then my laptop died so I lost half of it, then I thought I'd wait until next weekend but I got some good news...

I was out with my dad and sister on Saturday and he was like 'oh we need to go to *friends* nan's today to drop off some books' so I was like 'oh okay I'll wait in the car'. He insisted that I came to the door so I was a bit confused. When they opened the door, I saw my *friend* who immigrated to Australia 2 years ago! I was so shocked to see her and we both just cried! I knew she was coming back but they decided to come early and surprise everyone! I still can't really believe they're here!

*more about this here*

So yeah that explains this weekend and as you know, I can't do weekdays. I'm honestly not sure when I will post again but I'm pretty much busy on the run up to christmas. I'm sure no one will miss me but I'm still active on Twitter! Byee

1000 Pageviews!

So if you've read my blog recently, you'll know I haven't blogged much (if not read it here) and I haven't this month either. I honestly don't know where this month has gone! I tend to blog at the weekends but these past few have been busy. On the first weekend in November, I posted a guest post with Holy Chic (links on the post), the second weekend I didn't post as it was my birthday weekend and this weekend I had a dance competition. I can't post on weekdays due to school (yes i know its monday but hey) so this is really the first time I haven't been busy.

With that out of the way, my blog has reached 1,000 pageviews! This probably doesn't seem a lot to some people but it is to me. I've had my blog for 4 months (since July) and I'm so happy that just over a thousand people have seen it!

So far in my blogging journey, I have featured on Chit Chat the Blog and Colours and Carousels and I can't wait to experience more oppertunities with you guys and take you all along with me!

Thank you so much!

What's in my Bag: A/W Edition (guest post)

Hello there people!

My name is Amira and I blog over at Holy Chic and I was invited over here by the lovely Amelia to do a guest post for her. So I am going to start by telling you guys a little bit about myself.

I would consider myself to be mostly a fashion blogger however I do sometimes do beauty posts, DIY’s and reviews or anything random.

I have only been blogging for a little while now, but I have honestly spoken to some amazing people and I just love the overall experience of blogging at the moment.

Thank you for giving me the chance to do this guest post on her blog because it is AMAZING! I repeat, AMAZING.

So all of that aside, today I am going to be doing what’s in my handbag post: autumn edition.

I thought I would just share with you some of the things that I like to keep in my bag and the bag itself. So I hope you guys enjoy reading.

So this is my bag:

It was £8 in Primark (I know right. So cheap) I have been looking for the perfect sized inexpensive bag for the longest time and I love this one at the moment. It has the gorgeous laser cut out detail on the flap of the bag and is a satchel style bag. I didn’t want to go for the knock off oxford satchel style bags so I settled for this one.

It is in this black faux leather material and has a brass rustic lock on it. Inside there are two openings, a phone pouch and a zipped pocket in the back

Okay so I am going to go through what is in the first mini pouch

So as you can see here from left to right I have:

Benefit they’re real mascara

School lanyard

Maybelline master precise liquid eyeliner

Oyster card (the holder that it is in was from Primark about 2 years ago.)

Travel size cocoa butter

Cocoa butter lip balm

Cath Kidtston Mirror

So that is pretty much what is in the small compartment and now I will move on to what is in the main compartment of my bag.

So you can see it there and inside is;

My phone chargers because you can’t leave the house without it

Packet of tissues

Keys

Travel size body spray (Victoria’s secret charm honeysuckle and jasmine body mist)

Headphones because without them I am lost

My purse

My current reading book which is ‘Never Let Me Go’ my Kazuo Ishiguro

My blogging notebook. I write down all of my ideas in there and my schedule for uploading posts for you guys. (And no I don’t always stick to it)

And that is basically what is in my bag for this autumn. Sometimes I will have an umbrella in there but it was wet during the time I was taking those pictures

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and thank you Amelia  once again for allowing me to do this on her amazing blog http://intomyimaginationn.blogspot.co.uk/

Haul 006

I seem to be having a lot of hauls recently! On the 19th October, I went into town and I meant to put this post up the but I had some problems you can read about here. So, I went into John Lewis as I noticed a new Mac stand. I had never been to Mac before and it wasn't open when I went this time (I went yesterday and had my first look; I really love it and can't wait to buy something!) but while we were in there, we decided to look at the Jo Malone perfumes and I fell in love with Peony & Blush Suede! Here I have a booklet and a sample

We also went to asda to do some food shopping and they were giving out Eclairs as there are some new flavours

I went into Boots to get a new Impulse body spray (Tease) as this one is my favourite and mine is running low. I also decided to get another Baby Lips and I really love it! This one is Cherry Me. Then I got a lipstick from Natural Collection which I've been wanting for ages, and I finally decided to get one in Rose Bud

We then went into Primark were I got this lovely set of rings

I also thought it was time I needed some new shoes as I thought my other shoes were getting old. I really love Converse so I decided to get a new pair. I wonder how long they will stay that colour...

I got a new jumper in Primark too so I thought I'd show you an outfit rather than just the jumper:

coat - new look (bought last year)
jumper - primark
jeans - sainsburys
shoes - schuh

my favourite ring from the set mentioned above

Haul 002 does not exist (obviously missed that out!)

I Owe You All an Apology

I am really really sorry for barely blogging this month, I do actually have some actual reasons this time. I was planning on doing a post last weekend (coming out this week) but my wifi suddenly stopped working which is the most annoying thing EVER so I was unable to do it. As well as that, for this whole month, I have been packing up my room as I have decided to decorate it. This is what it currently looks like:

We are on half term right now so I have one week to get some posts prepared so hopefully I will be able to get up one a week again, I already have planned this weeks and a few for next week!

During the last week or so, a new Mac opened in a John Lewis near me and I have never been before. I am actually way too excited to go and see what its like and I am debating whether to get a lipstick or an eyeshadow? I also decided to make a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting (with a bit of help from Betty Crocker) it didn't really look the same but it tasted so good!

Last week, we had a lightning storm (there is supposed to be one tonight too) and I was filming it and managed to get some good screenshots:

So again, I am very sorry for not blogging and I hope you enjoyed this little catch up post :)

Changing Rooms #1 (Topshop)

Hi guys, I'm back! I've decided to start a new series called 'Changing Rooms' where I will take a picture of the clothes I tried on when I'm out shopping. Let me know what you think and whether you think it is a good idea or not!

So a week ago today, I went to Topshop and decided to try a few things on. I'm aslo sorry for the black bit on the pictures as my editing software is not that great. I tried on the mint green jumper first and it is so fluffy! It is so so warm and feels really cosy and is the thing I want most out of all the items. Although its cropped, I think it is great for the winter and looks nice with a plain black skater skirt (like I'm wearing in the picture). The next thing was this black and white daisy print 'shell top' and I really love it. I think you could pair it up with some really nice accessories too to bring out the illuminous green/yellow in the center of the daisies. The next two things I tried on were the same but different; a denim top and a denim dress (no link but I like this one!) I really love both of these. I wasn't sure about the dress at first as it looks like it has no shape to it but I thought I'd try it and I'm glad I did! The final item was a grey dress/long jumper which I really like (again no link but I love this dress and this one) and think would look nice with leggings.

That's it for episode 1, hope you enjoyed it :)
